I was born and raised in Middle Village, New York, though I spent most of my holidays and summers in the heart of wine country in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. That’s why I love returning to Oregon to photograph weddings. It’s a chance to visit my second home. Before I became a wedding photographer, I worked in the Thoroughbred industry. I was involved in several Triple Crown contenders and I retired from riding in 2001. I’m incredibly proud of my accomplishment in that industry. It was a time of my life that I will always treasure. When I’m not working with clients, I’m spending time with my boyfriend Stephen and my daughter Cece in our small town of Carle Place, New York. And I can’t forget our 4 dogs, my dream horse Pye and the feral cat we share with neighbors! In 2009 I photographed my first wedding. By blending a photojournalistic style with traditional portraiture, I capture your life-changing moments and preserve them in photographs that will stand the test of time.

Danielle has been taking photos since disposable cameras were all the rage. She attended FIT and graduated with a Fine Arts Degree in Photography and a Minor in art history. While in the city for school she always found herself wandering around snapping photos of all the amazing things happening around her. Her love for documenting life around her has transformed into photographing family portraits, events, weddings, and branding images for entrepreneurs, hotels and small business owners. In fact, the photographs you see of Janelle on this new website were taken by our very own Danielle.
Mary’s love for photography began at an early age. She got her first camera at 13 and there was
no turning back from there. She studied photography and even started shooting weddings in high
school, gaining that in field experience from a young age that is so hard to come by. This passion
for photographing weddings continued into her twenties and into her own time to get married
and take time away to build a family. After her babies were grown, Mary renewed her love for
taking photos, and shot for a few different studios before finding a home with JBP. Mary finds
happiness in the connection of being with people on the most important day of their lives. The
significance of a wedding being the first chapter in a family’s story, has a truly special meaning
for Mary, and is what makes her love for what she does grow in bounds. We are so blessed to
have Mary on the JBP Team.
Hi I'm Stephanie. Just to tell you a little about myself: I am a wife, mother and of course a photographer. I'm not just a photographer... I feel more like a dreamer. I often find myself asking "What if?," making vision boards, editing late into the night, exploring Long Island for the next location. I am constantly imagining and creating. There is so much magic working with children. It is heaven to spend hours wrapping, rocking and uncurling newborn fingers and simply fun to sing silly songs and make animal sounds to get that smile. What I do is so much more than photos, it's encasing the innocence of childhood in a charming frame and making a precious moment in time, last forever.
