Growing up in Coral Springs, Florida, Harrison began his love affair with photography by taking photos of his brother while playing hockey. His camera of choice at the time was a Sony Mavica FD-75, which, believe it or not, actually used floppy disks for storage. To say that Harrison’s skillset and equipment have improved since his days early days is an understatement.
Although he studied Political Science and International Affairs at Florida State University, his passion always lied with photography. After a short internship at the Florida Senate, Harrison decided to follow his heart and relocated from South Florida to New York to begin his career as a photographer. The move afforded him the opportunity to work with a variety of media outlets and have his work published in various newspapers and magazines, including Sports Illustrated and Brooklyn Bride.
Harrison’s unobtrusive, photojournalistic style and a quick shutter finger make him the ultimate event photographer. He prides himself on his ability to capture the small moments, whether it is a stolen kiss between a bride and groom or the joy on a parent’s face during their children’s first dance with their new spouse. His can-do, positive attitude, and warm, inviting personality, make him a welcome addition to any wedding day.
