Mary’s love affair with photography began at a very early age. Her first camera (a Kodak Pocket 110) was a gift when she was 13 and once the first set of negatives came back, she was hooked! While in high school she studied commercial photography. Through that course of study, she gained a solid photography skill set. She began shooting weddings as a teenager and continued to do so through her early twenties. Then came love, next came marriage, and of course babies followed shortly after.
After taking a hiatus from shooting weddings to raise her family, Mary renewed her connection with photography working in the wedding industry shooting for different studios but finally feels at home with JBP. She enjoys making connections with people on one of the most important days of their lives. The significance of a wedding, being the first chapter in a family’s story, has a special meaning for her & is what makes Mary’s love of weddings continue to grow.
